Content Publication

Published where the audience already is

Your best thinking is worth more on a platform people already read than on a blog nobody visits. We write it, place it, and get it published under your name on external titles that carry weight in your sector.

The service

Contributed content, placed on external platforms.

Most companies publish good material into an empty room. The article is competent, the insight is real, and the only people who read it are the three colleagues who shared it.

Content publication moves that work outward. The same expertise, written to an external editor’s brief, published on a platform with an existing audience – and credited to your spokesperson rather than to a brand nobody has heard of yet.

  • Written to a brief, not a template. Each editor’s format, length and tone respected.
  • Bylined to a person. Expertise attaches to people far more readily than to logos.
  • Placement, not just writing. We pitch, negotiate and see it through to publication.
  • Rights kept clear. Republication and reuse terms agreed before anything is filed.
Where it gets published

Six kinds of destination, matched to what you want to be known for.

Regional and local-language press

Columns and features in regional titles, which frequently carry more local weight than a national byline.

Association and institutional publications

Member journals, sector bodies and academic-adjacent outlets that lend real institutional credibility.

How we work

Six steps, and the interview is where the value comes from.

01

Find what you actually know

A structured session with your specialists to surface the views, patterns and hard-won detail that only your business holds. This is the raw material no writer can invent.

02

Shape the topic

Turning that expertise into a proposition an editor will commission – a position, an argument or a piece of evidence, not a description of your services.

03

Match the publication

Named titles with their contributor guidelines mapped: what they accept, what length, what tone, and who commissions it.

04

Pitch and secure

The editor approached with a specific proposal. Placement is confirmed before the full piece is written, so nothing is written on speculation.

05

Write and file

Full draft for your approval, then filed to the publication and taken through their editing process to publication.

06

Report and reuse

Published links, plus a pack for amplifying the piece across your own channels and using it in sales conversations.

Why published content matters more now

Assistants cite publishers, not brand blogs.

Then

Content marketing meant publishing on your own site and waiting for search engines to send visitors.

Now

AI systems weigh independent publishers far more heavily than company-owned pages. An argument published under your expert’s name on a recognised title is the version that gets quoted back to your buyer.

Your blog post proves you can write. A published byline proves someone else thought it was worth reading.

The deliverable

What you have at the end.

Published work with your name on it, and everything needed to make it keep working.

  • Live published links on external titles
  • The full approved text of every piece
  • Author biography and profile assets
  • Rights and republication terms in writing
  • Social and sales reuse pack per article
  • Editor relationships available for the next piece

Where an editor declines, you still keep the finished article. Nothing written is wasted – it goes to the next target or onto your own platform with the reasoning recorded.

Who this fits

Built for businesses with genuine expertise and no time to write it down.

This service converts what your specialists know into published authority. It works best where the sale involves trust in competence – technical, professional and considered purchases.

Honest note: this needs about an hour of your expert’s time per piece. If nobody internally can be interviewed, we cannot manufacture insight, and the result reads like every other generic article on the internet.

  • Technical and engineering firms with deep domain knowledge
  • Consultancies and professional practices
  • Founders establishing a sector reputation
  • B2B software companies selling to informed buyers
  • Businesses with proprietary data or original research
  • Companies whose competitors are already publishing and being cited
Questions we are asked

The things worth knowing before you start.

Is this paid placement or advertorial?

Contributed content is editorial – an editor accepts it because it is useful to their readers. Some platforms do charge for sponsored contribution, and where that is the right route we say so plainly and separate the cost. We never present a paid slot as earned coverage.

Do you write it, or do we?

We write it, from an interview with your specialist. You approve every draft before it is filed. What we cannot do is invent the expertise – that has to come from your team.

Whose name goes on it?

Your spokesperson’s, in almost every case. Bylines attached to a named person with a credible role consistently outperform brand-authored pieces, both with editors and with readers.

How much of our time does it take?

Roughly an hour per article for the interview, plus review time on the draft. Everything else is ours.

Can the same article be published in several places?

Usually not the same text – most editors require exclusivity. We handle that by writing distinct pieces around the same expertise, or by agreeing republication terms upfront where a platform allows it.

How long until something is published?

Four to eight weeks from interview to publication is typical, driven by the publication’s own schedule. Regular columns settle into a faster rhythm once the editor relationship exists.
