Digital PR Distribution

Coverage you earn, not space you buy

Researched angles, releases written the way each newsroom expects, and direct approaches to the editors who actually cover your sector – followed by a report showing exactly where it landed.

The service

Editorial coverage on news and online media.

Digital PR distribution is the work of getting a genuine story published by people who did not have to publish it. No advertorial slot, no sponsored badge – an editor decided it was worth their readers’ time.

That decision is made on the angle, not on the budget. So the first thing we do is test whether your announcement is news to anyone outside your company, and tell you plainly if it is not yet.

  • Written by people, for editors. Every release is shaped for the outlet it is going to, not copied across a database.
  • Lists built, not bought. Sector and market specific, refreshed for each campaign.
  • One-to-one pitching. Named journalists, addressed individually, with a reason to care.
  • Reported honestly. Where it appeared, where it did not, and what we learned for the next one.
Where your story lands

Six kinds of destination, chosen for your buyers.

National news media

Mainstream digital newsrooms and news networks, where reach and third-party credibility matter more than niche depth.

Regional and local-language press

City and state titles in the local language, which often carry more weight with a regional buyer than a national headline.

Trade and industry publications

The titles your customers read at work. Smaller audiences, far higher intent, and the placements that tend to convert.

News syndication networks

Wire-style pickup that multiplies a single release across affiliated and aggregator sites, with the pickups tracked.

Bylines and expert commentary

Opinion pieces, expert quotes and reactive comment placed under your spokesperson’s name rather than your brand’s.

How we work

Six steps, and the first one decides everything.

01

Angle first

We interrogate the announcement before writing a word of it. If there is a story an editor will publish, we find it. If there is not one yet, we say so and suggest what would make it one.

02

Written for the outlet

Releases, media notes, opinion pieces and briefing documents written in the form each destination expects – length, structure, quote placement and all.

03

Targeted lists

Built for your sector and market from current bylines, rather than blasted at a generic database that everyone else bought too.

04

Pitch and distribution

Individual approaches to named journalists, alongside placement through our publisher and syndication network, timed against the news cycle.

05

Follow-up

Persistent without becoming a nuisance. Second angles, additional data and interview offers to editors who showed interest but did not run it first time.

06

Placement report

Where it appeared, with links, reach estimates, syndicated pickups and the results worth putting in front of your board.

The second reason to do this now

Coverage is no longer only a reputation asset.

Then

A placement reached readers, generated a spike of traffic, and went quiet within a week.

Now

AI engines assemble their answers from news sites and publishers. Editorial coverage is one of the strongest signals deciding whether an assistant names your brand at all – and it keeps working long after the traffic spike is over.

Every placement now works twice – once for people, once for the machines they ask.

The deliverable

What arrives at the end of a campaign.

Not a folder of screenshots. A report you can forward to a board, an investor or a client without editing it first.

  • Every live placement, with direct links
  • Outlet, date and format of each pickup
  • Syndicated and republished versions traced
  • Estimated reach per placement
  • Search visibility gained from the coverage
  • Approved copy you can reuse on your own channels

We also tell you which outlets passed, and why. That is usually the most useful page in the report, because it shapes the next announcement.

Who this fits

Built for companies with something real to announce.

Digital PR rewards substance. Where there is a genuine development behind the announcement, this is the most durable visibility available for the money. Where there is not, no distribution network will rescue it.

Honest note: if you need guaranteed placement on a fixed date, this is not the right service – earned coverage cannot be guaranteed by anyone telling you the truth. Media portal distribution is the better fit for that.

  • Companies launching a product, service or location
  • Businesses announcing funding, expansion or partnerships
  • Founders building a public profile in their sector
  • Firms with proprietary data or research worth publishing
  • Established brands whose news never travels beyond their own channels
  • Organisations that want to be cited by AI assistants, not only ranked by search engines
Questions we are asked

The things worth knowing before you start.

Can you guarantee a specific publication?

No, and neither can anyone else offering genuine editorial coverage. What we commit to is the angle work, the outlet-specific writing, the targeting and the follow-up – and an honest report of what came of it. Where a guaranteed slot is the requirement, media portal distribution is the service that does that.

How long does a campaign take?

Angle work and writing typically run about a week. Distribution and pitching happen over the following one to two weeks, with follow-up beyond that. Pickups usually appear within days of release, and syndicated versions can keep surfacing for weeks.

What if our announcement is not really news?

We will tell you at the angle stage rather than after taking a fee. In most cases there is a story nearby – a data point, a customer outcome, a market observation – that is publishable even when the original announcement is not.

Do you write the release, or do we?

We write it. You supply the facts, the quotes we can attribute and the approvals. Everything is sent to you for sign-off before it goes anywhere.

Does this help with AI assistants and search?

It is one of the strongest inputs. Independent publishers are heavily weighted when AI engines decide which brands to name, and editorial links carry search value that paid placement does not. It works best alongside the wider AI visibility work rather than on its own.

Can you work in languages other than English?

Yes. Regional and local-language press is often where the most valuable coverage sits, and releases are adapted for those newsrooms rather than translated word for word.
